Moby

Moby is a border collie/pointer mix and is about 9 1/2 years old.  He’s incredibly smart and sometimes too smart for his own good.  He flew through obedience classes when he was younger with a “is that all ya got” attitude.  He hinges upon Shannon’s every word wondering what the next challenge or command is going to be.  We are certain that he understands English and is so in tune with Shannon that it seems he can sometimes read her mind.  He’s Shannon’s first dog  that she’s owned on her own and there will NEVER be another one quite as special as him.

Over the past 7 years, Moby has been the welcoming committee to MANY German Shepherd Rescue foster dogs.  He’s more of a “people dog” so doesn’t much enjoy playing with the other dogs,  BUT he has an excellent ability to communicate to the new comers what the rules of the house are and has a way of bringing shy dogs out of their shells.
